By Luke Edwards on Oct 26, 08 02:13 PM

Whether your hangover on Sunday morning was born from a desire to drown your sorrows or from a night of wild celebration I'm sure you've got something to say about Sunderland's derby victory over Newcastle at the weekend.

If you have any questions for me, or simply want to express your thoughts, I'll be doing another live web chat on Monday from 12pm. Just log on to the Journal Live website and click on the link.

lets get one thing straight - both clubs have their share of idiot supporters and i can't remember a derby that has passed without incident? it appears the newcastle fans are hiding behind this trouble to deflect the fact sunderland won the game, sunderland were the better team and deserved the 3 points, sunderland are a team on the up while newcasle are a team in freefall. we have had to endure many defeats but i would suggest the tides have turned! looking forward to doing the double over newcastle, and i'm sure the second derby will pass without incident, as newcastle fans wouldn't cause any trouble eh? yeah - right! haway the lads!

Well said. Newcastle were poor. Look at the best 3 players on the pitch and they all wore red and white. Look at the worst three and I will say no more!

i am anoyed at some of the news media, hyping up the war zone that was the sol on sat 25th october. How wrong they were ,in reality it was simply the wear reinactment society celibrating the 693rd anniversary of the battle of agincourt. The pesky french were played by a troop of vagrents from the great unwashed land over the tyne and the umpires(the ones in the helmets)were drafted in from a village idiots convention that was abandoned in ponteland as the orginisers thought they might hurt themselves with the pens provided. In truth less thn 30 fans ran on the pitch to celibrate, this caused the unwashed to threaten violence and hurl red frizzbees at ths safc fans it was a storm in a teacup but the violence was initiated by the away fans.I was very surprised however by the lack of common sense shown by the police there should have been a decent targeted police deployment betwean the fans,is this the fault of the club ,maximising revenue and not allowing a gap between the fans

Sunderland thoroughly deserve their day in the sun, they wanted it more on the day and their goals were well taken. However, another game was thrown away by Nicky Butt ruthlessly chopping forwards down and giving free kicks or penalties away because of his tired old legs. I like his endeavour but this has to be maturely addressed by JK now that Barton's back. Nicky's had it at this level and should now be only a squad player. I also thought that the tornadoes on the pitch ( the wind ) kinda killed what would've been a better spectacle of football
had it been calm. That's my lot except to congratulate the cats after so many years of nearly, enjoy it lads, we have for 28 years. Do you reckon you'll dominate for that long? Er, Luke, name change is cos my windows and car are too expensive to replace and I live in enemy territory.

As some of you will have realised, due to technical problems the web chat has been postponed until Tuesday lunchtime. A pain in the behind, but we'll have it fixed by tomorrow...
